That comic/story is awesome. It's amazing what you can find in gas station bathrooms. Believe me, you do not want to venture into the mens restrooms....some of the "illistrations" you come across are quite humorous. But I like this comic, and you're drawings are very nicely done. I will surely come back to see the next epic tale. (katelynian)
I think that many think this, especially about Ohio, because really Ohio is all farming community and run down buildings. In my small town called Roseville, we have about three or four shut down potteries, and one of them actually burnt down. We also have an old prison which is run down and kinda spooky, supposed to be haunted. As well as one of our two gas stations has went under not to mention our garage. Also most of the kids from my high school lived in the country, I went to one of the more "country" schools in my area. It is kinda sad though how factories, potteries and such close down. That used to be places were my family members worked. So stuff like that doesn't help the image of the Midwest. (midwesternmediocrity)
I like the picture as your header, catches your eye right off the bat. The rest of your art is good, and will come back to see more.(thelaughingdonkey)
WEll I just read your long tail, and its very interesting. It caught my eye first because I failed math 148(the before calc), but i failed it twice, but hey, third time is a charm. But my brothers girl friend actually went here at OSU too and did the same thing you want to do, and now lives in New York and was involved in some glass blowing and found a studio to work at and all that good stuff. She struggled but she is still working at it, so don't give up, there is still "security" in glass blowing. (bigesizethat)
My friend showed me this video a while back, and I thought it was funny, then the ending surprised me. I was kinda shocked and disappointed. But still funny none the less.(morethanucanhandle)
